ow <br />Description of Services to be Provided <br />Working with existing Vero Beach — Indian River County Recreation Department's children's <br />classes, Parent Education Opportunities will be offered to parents of children who are attending <br />Recreation Department classes at the same time that the child is attending their Recreation <br />Department class. The Parent Education Opportunities will be offered in a nearby, convenient <br />location to begin immediately after the child's class beginning time and to end immediately prior <br />to the child's class ending time. <br />Working in conjunction with faith community leaders, child care directors, school administrators <br />and other organizations, the Provider will identify time and place for regularly scheduled Parent <br />Education Opportunities throughout the county. All groups are to be open to the public. Additional <br />responsibilities include organization and oversight of training of leaders. <br />These services can also be provided in the neighborhood, school, workplace, or clinic, wherever the <br />concerns, priorities, and resources of the parent or caregiver can best be met. <br />Fiscal and Programmatic Data Collection and Reporting <br />A. Financial -- The Provider will provide a financial report to the Coalition on Healthy Start funds <br />expended by category. This report will be submitted by: <br />October 31, 1998 <br />covering: July 1, 1998 — September 30, 1998 <br />January 31, 1999 <br />covering: October 1, 1998 — December 31, 1998 <br />April 30, 1999 <br />covering: January 1, 1999 — March 30, 1999 <br />July 31, 1999 <br />covering: April 1, 1999 — June 30, 1999 <br />B. Services -- The Provider will report services completed in the project. The Provider is <br />responsible for the accuracy of this data. Working with existing Recreation Department's <br />classes, Parent Education Opportunities will be offered at the same time in a nearby, convenient <br />location to begin immediately after the student's class beginning time and to end immediately <br />prior to the student's class ending time. <br />Working in conjunction with faith communities leaders, child care directors, school <br />administrators and other organizations, determine time and place for regularly scheduled Parent <br />Education Opportunities throughout the county. All groups are to be open to the public. <br />Additional responsibilities include organization and oversight of training of leaders. <br />The Provider will provide a quarterly report to the Coalition which addresses progress toward <br />achieving the performance measures included in Section IX below. <br />This report will be submitted within ten working days following the end of the month.
