If <br />removal is impossible, all flammable or combustible material <br />will be protected with a suitable non-combustible shield to <br />prevent sparks, flame or hot metal from reaching the <br />combustible material. The Contractor shall provide the <br />E necessary personnel and fire fighting equipment to effec- <br />tively control incipient fires resulting from welding or <br />flame cutting or other operations involving the use of <br />flames, arcs or sparking devices. <br />9. 3 The use and disposal of gasoline, benzine, paint or like <br />combustible materials shall be handled in accordance with the <br />best manner or precautionary practices shall conform to the <br />Owner's requirements and regulations; as well as those set <br />forth by state and local codes and Underwriters Laboratories <br />I and Fire Insurance recommendations. <br />10.0 MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS: The Contractor's <br />employee parking, access for delivery trucks, and other <br />t <br />const,ruccion vehicle parking shall be only where agreed upon <br />by the Contractor, Owner's Representative and Engineer. <br />E 10.2 contractors, Subcontractors and their employees or <br />ksuppliers shall not interfere with access of public roads. <br />11.0 EXISTING TREE PROTECTION: All possible care shall <br />be taken to protect all parts of all existing trees to be <br />saved on the project site. This shall include trunk, <br />branches and root system with particular attention toe the <br />existing grade elevations within the canopy or drip line of <br />f, the tree. This area shall not be disturbed if possible. <br />Placement of fill material movement of construction traffic <br />or other compaction of this existing soil layer shall not be <br />permitted. Excavation in this area shall be minimized and <br />performed by hand wherever possible.
