staff will distribute the copies to staff of the FWS, Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection and Caribbean Conservation Corporation. After a <br />review period, the COUNTY will receive comments that will be forwarded to <br />the CONSULTANT, who will address the comments and make revisions to the <br />HCP, as necessary. <br />Participation in Public Meetings <br />Once a final draft of the HCP is developed, the CONSULTANT shall be <br />available to attend public meetings before the Indian River County Board of <br />County Commissioners, and shall assist county staff in its presentations to the <br />referenced entities concerning aspects of the HCP. The CONSULTANT shall <br />make final revisions to the HCP as necessary to address concerns raised by the <br />referenced entities, as applicable and appropriate. <br />Completion of Incidental Take Permit Application <br />The CONSULTANT shall prepare a complete application to the FWS for an <br />incidental take Section 10 permit relating to the HCP. <br />6. Study Requirements and Provisions of Work <br />Project Schedule <br />The schedule for completion of the project will be six months from the date of <br />issuance of the Notice to Proceed to the submittal of the Sec`ion 10 permit <br />application. The CONSULTANT may request an extension of time based on <br />unforeseen circumstances. This request must be made in writing to the <br />COUNTY and must describe the reasons necessitating an extension. No <br />extension is granied wiihout expressed written approval by the County's Project <br />Manager. The CONSULTANT must at all times exercise due diligence in <br />adhering to the conditions set forth in the Interim Agreement & Memorandum <br />of Agreement (Appendix A). Prior to the COUNTY's issuance of the Notice to <br />Proceed, the CONSULTANT shall provide a schedule of calendar deadlines for <br />submittals accompanied by an anticipated payout curve. <br />Meetings and Presentations <br />The CONSULTANT shall attend a Notice to Proceed meeting with county staff, <br />where relevant project information shall be provided by the County, along with <br />
