General: Provide materials which have been selected <br />for surface flatness and smoothness. Exposed surfaces <br />which exhibit pitting, seams marks, roller marks, <br />stain, discolorations, telegraphing of core material, <br />or other imperfections on finished units are not <br />acceptable. <br />B. Solid Plastic: High density, solid polymer resin with <br />homogenous color throughout. Provide material not <br />less than 1" thick, seamless construction with edges <br />eased to a radius of .250". <br />C. Pilaster Shoes: ASTM A 167, 'Type 302/304 stainless <br />steel, not less than 3'" high, 20 gage, finished to <br />match hardware, with theft proof stainless steels hex <br />bolts. <br />D. Stirrup Brackets: Manufacturer's standard design for <br />attaching panels to walls and ,pilaster, either <br />chroma_num-plated non-ferrous cast alloy (""'amac"") or <br />anodized aluminum. Continuous stirrups required. <br />E. Edczing Strips,, Annodized aluminum. <br />F. Hardware and Accessories: Manufacturer's standard <br />design, heavy-duty operating hardware and accessories <br />of chromium -plated non-ferrous cast alloy ("Zamac"). <br />G. wall Brackets: Full length, continuous, (6063-T <br />Alloy) with mill finish weighing not less than 1635 <br />lbs. per linear foot similar or equal to Santana <br />Products. Co., Inc. Section #5$992 shall be used for <br />114;}Gla` tv f,yid�Le�, pilaster to wall and panel to <br />wall connections. wall brackets shall be pre -drilled <br />by manufacturer with holes spaced every 61' along full <br />length of brackets. wall brackets shall be thru- <br />bolted to panels and pilaster with one-way hex bolts. <br />Attachment of brackets to adjacent wall construction <br />shall be accomplished by (1) theft proof Zamac <br />mushroom nail in head anchor directly behind the <br />vertical edge of panels and pilasters at every 121' <br />along the full length of bracket and (2) No.5 pla-Q+-ic <br />anchors and No.14 x 1 1/41" stainless steel phillips <br />head screws at each 121" interval alternately spaced <br />between anchor connections. <br />10x55-2 <br />
