i <br />• <br />40 <br />stationing and design. Consultant will evaluate up to two different <br />roadway pavement/stabilization options. The options to be evaluated <br />shall be provided by the Landscape Architect. Carter Associates will <br />verify permitting requirvincnts. `1'hc Consultant and Carter Associates <br />will prepare it preliminary estimate of probable construction costs <br />based on the preliminary design of roadway and drainage <br />improvements. <br />2) Working together with the Consultant Team, prepare a Preliminary Opinion of <br />Probable Construction Costs based on the proposed Preliminary Design. <br />3) Meet with the County to review the Preliminary Design work, and to receive <br />authorization to proceed with the Final Design Phase ofthe project. <br />E. Task 5: — Permittinf; <br />1) Carter Associates will prepare applications and required exhibits for submittal <br />by the County toward obtaining the following permits associated with the <br />development of the public use sites: <br />a) St. Johns River Water Management District - Stornwater ERP <br />b) IRCDUS - Domestic water and sanitary sewer construction <br />e) Indian River County - Stormwater permit <br />d) Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection - Domestic water distribution <br />system extension <br />e) Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection - Sanitary sewer collection and <br />transmission system extension <br />2) It is assumed that the loop roadway, parking areas, other public use <br />improvements and associated drainage conveyance and stormwater <br />management system will be located in "Uplands" and will not require ally <br />wetlands permitting. Should wetlands permitting or any other environmental <br />permits (other than St. Johns River Water Management District - Stormwater <br />ERP) be required, they shall be negotiated its an additional service.. <br />3) Based on the Landscape Architect's design drawings, Edlund and Dritenbas <br />will prepare applications and required exhibits (foundation structural review, <br />windload calculations, electrical service) l'or submittal by the County toward <br />obtaining the require(] signage permits. <br />4) Make informal contact with the staffs or the above agencies to answer <br />questions, to clarify the proposed construction, and to expedite the proccssing <br />of the permits. <br />Task 6: — Final Design Phase <br />1) On the basis of the approved Preliminary Design, prepare final construction <br />drawings: <br />a) Site Plan: <br />b Coordinate with Carter Associates to develop a site plan drawing <br />including layout anti dimensioning, and loeati-in or ,ill proposed <br />improvements. <br />♦ Coordinate with County start' who will prepare and submit applications <br />for Indian River County site plan approval including Lotti clearing, tree <br />removal and concurrency applications. <br />4 Attend the 'lechnteal Review Committee (f.lt.C:.) meeting all([ prepare <br />responses and site plan modifications its required by the 'ER.C. <br />comments. Provide coordination and follow-up work nccesz;aiy to <br />obtain site plan approval. <br />b) Infrastructure Design: <br />Attadunent - 9 <br />
