40 <br />4D <br />M <br />* Prepare construction drawings for paving and grading, including <br />details and specifications. <br />+ Carter Associates will prepare construction drawings for drainage, <br />water and sewer improvements including details and specifications. <br />+ Carter Associates will coordinate required geotcchnical investigations <br />with County's geotechnical consultant. <br />+ The Wastewater pump stations will be prefabricated grinder pump <br />systems meeting the minimum requircments of the Indian River <br />County Dept. of Utility Services (IRCDUS), and Florida Department <br />of Environmental Protection (FDEP). <br />c) Loop Roadway Design: <br />Based on approval of the preliminary design drawings by the <br />Landscape Architect, U.S. Fish & Wildlife and the County, Carter <br />Associates will prepare final construction drawings including details <br />and specifications for roadway, drainage conveyance and storrawater <br />management system improvements. <br />d) Architectural Design: <br />Edlund and Dritenbas will prepare final construction drawings For all <br />architectural features identified in the Preliminary Design Submittal. <br />e) Landscape Design: <br />+ Prepare final construction drawings for all landscape improvements. <br />Note: the primary objective is to use a naturalistic theme to blend with <br />the conservation areas, and to mininii7e maintenance requirements. <br />+ Prepare performance specification requiring the contractor to provide <br />for temporary irrigation during the establishment period. Since native <br />vegetation will be used (which will not require supplemental irrigation <br />subsequent to establishment), the irrigation objective will be for the <br />contractor to provide a temporary method of watering during the <br />establishment period. <br />Site Amenities and Passive Recreational Design: <br />+ Prepare final construction drawings for project identification signage, <br />site directional and informational signage (all with a common theme), <br />the boardwalk, kiosk, and site lighting. <br />g) Jungle Trail Signage: <br />♦ Prepare typical design detail drawing for signage to be used along the <br />entire Jungle Trail corridor at the following locations: <br />• One at the north terminus <br />• One at the south terminus -one <br />• 'rhe S.R. 510 intersection (one on the north side, and uric on the <br />south side) <br />• One at each site being developed under this project (i.e. <br />Lisser/Kennedy, Sumian, & Cairns) <br />* Sign design sliall be based on that used at Roun(1- Island Oceanfront <br />Park. <br />+ Atypical planting plan shall be prepared for use at cacti sign site. <br />2) Prepare a final Opinion of Probable Construction Costs, along with bid <br />schedule for paving, grading, drainage, water, sewer, lighting, structures, <br />landscape, site ftirnighings, signage, boardwalks, kiosk and other <br />miscellaneous improvements. <br />3) Meet with County to review pre -final (90%) drawings, revised opinion of <br />probable construction costs, to receive review comments, and <br />authorization to finalize the construction drawings. <br />Attachment- 10 <br />
