Activation <br />Activation of emergency response personnel beyond <br />the first response agencies (emergency medical <br />services, fire/rescue division, municipal police <br />departments, etc.) and partial EOC staff is not <br />anticipated for this level of emergency. The Indian <br />River County Emergeiicy Services Director will <br />monitor the situation, coordinate local response <br />activities, and be prepared to take further action, if <br />necessary, to protect the public. <br />4,3.2 Notification of Limited Emergency Condition <br />a. Description <br />An incident involving a greater hazard or larger area <br />which poses a potential threat to life and/or property <br />and which may require a limited evacuation of the <br />surrounding area. <br />b. Notification <br />Upon receipt of notification of a limited emergency <br />condition from the facility owner or operator, the <br />county emergency communicator will notify the <br />following emergency personnel (See Figure 4-2): <br />- American Red Cross, Indian River County <br />Chapter, <br />- Indian River County Administrator <br />- Indian River County Department of Emergency <br />Services <br />- Indian River County Department of Emergency <br />Services, E.M.S.
