An Indian River County Right -Of -Way permit is required for work performed <br />in county right-of-ways. Pavement disturbance should be avoided as much as possible. Contractor <br />should estimate appropriate number of fittings to avoid cutting pavement. <br />8. All water meters must be extended at least 2' outside invert of swale. <br />9. Water services must be at least 3' under pavement. <br />10,No flush or test water shall be discharged in front swales. All water shall be <br />discharged in side or rear drainage ditches. <br />11. Restoration length (i.e. sod, seed and mulch, pavement, etc. ) shall include <br />length over water main only. Any restoration over service tubing shall be <br />included with the cost of installing the service. <br />12. One row of sod shall be placed along edge of pavement on undeveloped lots <br />where disturbed. Final grade at edge of pavement shall be 1-2 inches below <br />edge of pavement to provide for height of sod. <br />13. Excavated areas shall be restored within 48 hours after excavation. <br />14. Contractor will be provided with copy of construction plans in AUTOCADD <br />format which includes location reference to state plane coordinates, <br />15.Anyfall addendum items to the bid package will be issued by the end of this <br />week/first of next week. <br />16.Comments from Ron Lefebure, Utilities Inspector. <br />A. Contractor should inspect all culverts prior to constructing around them. If <br />contractor identifies a deteriorated culvert, then county ai :d city inspectors <br />should be Notified to verify condition. Also, pre -construction pictures should <br />be taken to substantiate condition. <br />
