f 40 format and working presented in these Contract Documents before starting work. 5.3.2 Special Requirements: 5.3.2.1 Upon submittal of the executed contract by the Contractor, certificates of insurance and endorsement forms in the exact wording and format as presented in these Contract Documents will be provided to the OWNER's Risk Manager for review and approval. The certificates shall provide for the following: 5.3.2.1.1. "Hoard of County Commissioners, Indian River County Florida" will be named as "Additional Insured" on both the General Liability, Auto Liability and Builder's Risk "All Risk" Insurance. 5.3.2.1.2. The OWNER will be given thirty (30) days notice prior to cancellation or modification of any stipulated insurance. Such notification will be in writing by registered mail, return receipt requested and addressed to the OWNER's Risk Manager. 5.3.2.2. An appropriate "Indemnification" clause shall be made a provision of the contract (see paragraph 6.36 and 6.37 of the General Conditions). 5.3.2.3. It is the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR to insure that all subcontractors comply with all insurance requirements. 5.3,2.4. It should be remembered that these are minimum requirements which are subject to modification in response to high hazard operation. 5.3.2.5. insureds must be authorized to do business and have an agent for service of process in Florida and have an "A" policyholder's rating and financial rating of least Class 40 ?Gl in accordance with the most current Best's Rating. ARTICLE 6 - CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision and Superintendence: 6.1 CONTRACTOR shall supervise and direct the Work competently and efficiently, devoting such attention thereto and applying such skills and expertise as may be necessary to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures of construction, but CONTRACTOR shall not be responsible for the negligence of others in the design or selection of specific means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures of construction which is indicated in and required by the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to see that the finished Work complies accurately with the Contract Documents. 6.2 CONTRACTOR shall keep on the Work at all times during its progress a competent resident superintendent, who shall not be replaced without written notice to OWNER and ENGI'N'EER except under extraordinary circumstances. The superintendent will be CONTRACTOR's representative at the site and shall have authority to act on behalf of CONTRACTOR.
