(Additional information <br />may be requested if needed.) <br />1. Project budget summary. Provide a one-pn e- project budget summary listing project <br />expenses by major categories. <br />2. General specifications and plans. Submit a generalized sketch with enough <br />detail that the evaluating committee will understand what is to be constnictcd <br />and a one-page written summary of sizes and capacities of the project and major <br />components. Fit all drawings on 8'/t' by l I" paper. Detailed engineering plans <br />may be requested later if needed For further project evaluation. Do not send <br />color graphics unless they will reproduce satisfactorily in black and white. <br />3. Location map. Indicate the location and extent of tluc project and whether <br />it crosses water management district jurisdictions. Use an 8 %s,. by <br />I l" format. Show highway intersections or other recogni7ablc landmarks <br />for orienttation.'I7rc may, may be a photocopy of part of a county road Wrap <br />or USGS topographic map. If the proposed project crosses water management district <br />boundaries or serves more than one water management district, provide a oue-naee <br />summary of the effects that the project will have on water resources and water <br />users within each district. Include the following information, at a minimum. <br />• State the amount(s) of water that will be transported across the district boundary <br />• Identify the locality from which the water will be taken <br />• Identify the utility and/or users who will receive the water <br />0 <br />10 <br />a <br />NJA <br />E. Utilities Only. 'the Florida Legislature requires utilities receiving funds through this program to meet <br />several specific conditions concerning rates, consistency with comprehensive planus, and requiring <br />mandatory Hookups to public muse distribution systems. In order for S]RWMD to assess whether <br />individual utilities meet the legislative requirements, utility applicants must attach [lie following items to <br />their applications. <br />1. Rate schedules. A copy of die rate schedule for each water, wastewater, and <br />reclaimed water utility service operated by the applicant in the service area <br />where the proposed project is located. <br />2. Certification of compatibility with local comprehensive plant. A letter from �✓ <br />the local city or county land use planning authority, certifying that the project is <br />consistent with the local comprehensive plan (Do not include plan excerpts.) <br />3. Reuse Ordinance.
