r_�] <br />40 <br />f <br />40 <br />or she has developed a dependence on drugs, alcohol, or any controlled substance, he <br />or she is advised to seek rehabilitation voluntarily (without disciplinary penalty), prior <br />to any management action. <br />In order to provide an effective means of helping employees deal with drug/alcohol use <br />and/or abuse, which may be interfering with their job performance, the District has an <br />Employee Assistance -Program (EAP) provider, Bradman/UniPsych Companies, which <br />offers employees and their families substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation <br />services. Information on these services is available from the District at 567-8000, <br />extension 225 at the Director's Office, fire Chief at 562-2026, or the EMS Chief at <br />567-3160 <br />We would like to have the opportunity to answer any questions anyone might have <br />prier to the effective date of the program. If you would like to discuss the policy (on <br />a confidential basis), please contact the Emergency Services Director, or his or tier <br />designee, at any time. <br />We do appreciate your work on behalf of the District and ask your assistance in. <br />keeping the workplace free of alcohol and drug-related problems. <br />Ja es E.
