RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Board approve the Emergency Management, Preparedness and Assistance Trust Fund which continues funding for the Emergency Management Planner, the Emergency Management Planning Assistant, and expenses for non -capital and capital equipment as noted, with the balance of the grant funds being retained in a contingency account for later allocation during the fiscal year. An agenda item will be submitted at the appropriate time for authorization to commit unobligated funds to the renovations and/or capital equipment for the EOC, and completion of this year's requirements in the Five -Year Strategic Plan.
