All observed ducting and air handling machinery utilized
metal duct taping for connections. No plans or specifications were available for review.
Survey Results:
The following building materials were identified as suspect asbestos -containing materials
(ACM). Bold indicated bulk samples collected
Homogenous Material DW1 - DW 3 : Interior wall and ceiling drywall 0 v;
In accord with the limited scope of this survey 15 bulk samples of Homogeneous
Materials DW1-DW3, RF1, RF2, VAT1, VAT2 & Misc1 were collected and analyzed. The
laboratory analytical report is included as appendix A.
Summary of Laboratory Analysis- laboratory results are s-ummarized below.
No asbestos was detected in Homogeneous Materials DW1-DW3, RF2, VAT1 & VAT2
30% Chrysotile asbestos was detected in Homogeneous Material RP felt layer an
area of approximately 18'x12'
5% Chrysotile asbestos was detected in Homogeneous Material Misc1
Homogenous Material RM1 & STI were not sampied and assumed to contain asbestos
tliS cu ss to n:
The inspected areas of the Building were observed to be in good condition.
The sink coated with Homogeneous material Misc1 is scheduled for removal.
