BOOK ' 99 PAU 909 <br />Utility Services Director Terry Pinto stated that when the <br />rate structure was examined, it was determined that the least cost <br />alternative for disposing of effluent was reuse. MCC_AI , P.E , <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL PROJE GINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT TY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: 26TH STREET WATER MAIN PROJECT <br />INDIAN RIVER -FARMS LEASE AGREEMENT <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />As a result of the construction of the water line on 26th Street <br />between 82nd Avenue and 84th Avenue within the Indian River Farms <br />right-of-way, we must now execute a lease agreement with them. <br />The additional construction between 82nd Avenue and 84th Avenue was <br />required to complete a master -planned looping line between 26th <br />Street and Kings Highway. The construction, by Tri -Sure <br />Corporation, was approved on August 6, 1996, by the Indian River <br />County Board of County Commissioners. The cost of this lease is <br />$3,450.00 per year. The prorated --share for the remainder of this <br />year is $1,039.50. Currently we are paying $8,468.52 per year in <br />lease fees with Indian River Farms, this will bring our total lease <br />payments to $11,918.52. Funding for this lease will be from <br />Account No. 471-219-536-034.48. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the lease with Indian River <br />Farms as presented and authorize the Chairman to execute same. <br />NOVEMBER 19, 1996 52 <br />
