INTEGRATED PREPAREDNESS PLAN (IPP) <br />Subrecipients are required to engage senior leaders and other whole community stakeholders to identify <br />preparedness priorities specific to training and exercise needs, which will guide development of the <br />county's multi-year IPP. The IPP should identify a combination of planning, training and exercise activities <br />that address preparedness priorities and capability gaps based on planning efforts, hazard and risk <br />assessments, and exercise/incident after -action reviews (AARs). <br />The State of Florida uses the Integrated Preparedness Plan Workshop (IPPW) process to synchronize <br />local IPP's into a statewide IPP. Sub -Recipients shall have a representative participate in their Regional <br />IPPW, and EMPG funded personnel are encouraged to attend. <br />To demonstrate successful completion of task 3A for Quarter 2, the Sub -Recipient must submit the <br />following items into DEMES: <br />DELIVERABLES <br />• Submit the County 2028-2029 IPP Data Sheets by January 12, 2026, in DEMES <br />• Proof of participation by a representative of the Subrecipient in the appropriate <br />Regional IPP Workshop (IPPW) <br />Reporting Requirements: <br />Quarter 1 <br />Quarter 2 <br />Quarter 3 <br />Quarter 4 <br />NA <br />Deliverables Due <br />NA <br />NA <br />Supporting Documentation: Submission of IPP Data Sheets Only in DEMES not later than January 12, <br />2026. Proof of Participation (provided by the Training and Exercise Unit.) by a representative of the <br />Subrecipient at the appropriate Regional IPP Workshop (IPPW). <br />B. TRAINING <br />All EMPG Program -funded personnel are expected to be trained emergency managers. All EMPG funded <br />personnel must complete either the NIMS Independent Study courses and the Professional Development <br />Series, or the FEMA National Emergency Management Basic Academy delivered either by EMI or at a <br />sponsored state, local or other designated location. <br />39 <br />
