RA <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER O AND WASTEWATER OPERATIONS <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PAY REQUEST FOR INDIAN.RIVER COUNTY BID <br />NO. 6082 <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />On October 1, 1996, the Board of County Commissioners approved a <br />contract with Florida Waste Environmental Service, Inc., for the <br />removal of the above -referenced diesel tanks. The removal of the <br />tanks is complete in accordance with Indian River County Standards <br />and Specifications. <br />The department is now prepared to finalize the project. Therefore, <br />we are requesting approval by the Board of County Commissioners to <br />make final payment in the amount of $7,770.00 to the contractor. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the attached final pay <br />request in the amount of $7,770.00 to Florida Waste Environmental <br />Service, Inc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the final pay request by Florida Waste Environmental <br />Service, Inc. in the amount of $7,770, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />FINAL PAY REQUEST ON FILE IN OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />69 <br />DECEMBER 3, 1996 <br />
