O'Brien, Assistant County Attorney oI �' 0 <br />DATE: January 7, 1997 <br />SUBJECT: TRANSFER OF PROPERTY FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT <br />TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND THEN TO IRC HABITAT FOR HUMANITY <br />RE: MY MEMORANDUM TO BCC, THIS SUBJECT, APRIL 26, 1996 <br />The Hoard of County Commissioners at its regular meeting of May 7, 1996 approved the <br />procedures to effect the subject transfer. The Federal Government on December 23, 19% <br />transmitted to Indian River County deeds for the subject property. It is now our obligation under <br />the agreed to procedures to in tum deed these properties to the Habitat for Humanity. <br />It is recommended that the Chairman be authorized to sign the statutory deed as set forth in <br />Section 125.441, F.S., transferring the subject properties. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the Chairman to sign the statutory deed <br />as set forth in Section 125.441, F.S., transferring <br />the subject property, as recommended in the <br />Memorandum. <br />6 -Co R b CJ, <br />-C-AP=-OF-G.,NTY DEED IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />I.
