Serv. <br />Risk Mgt. <br />Other <br />RE: Request to -add County Seal to Indian River County Health Department's Letterhead <br />As you already may know, last year's legislative session did away with the old HRS and <br />created two new departments --Department of Children and Families and the Department of Health. <br />This change is bringing about many exciting opportunities with the emphasis on stronger local <br />involvement and coordination with the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Several staff members have approached me about placing the Indian River County Seal on <br />our letterhead to reinforce this active participation and commitment. Apparently, several other <br />county health departments have both logos or seals on their letterhead. Currently, the Indian River <br />County Environmental Control Board stationary has both seals present. <br />Please let me know if our request to include the county seal on our letterhead -meets with <br />your approval. For your review, I have printed this note on the proposed stationary. If you have <br />any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me at 770-5401.
