I . Zoning Classification: RS -3, Single Family Residential (up tc <br />3 units per acre) <br />2. Land Use Designation: M-1, Medium Density 1 (up to 8 units <br />per acre) <br />3. Surrounding Land Uses and Zoning: <br />North: Vacant/RS-3 <br />South: 8th Street/RS-3 <br />East: Vacant/RS-3 <br />West: 90th Avenue/A-1 <br />4. Environmental Issues: A portion of the northern end of the <br />proposed road right-of-way extends into identified <br />jurisdictional wetlands. The identified wetlands are within <br />the boundaries of the proposed right-of-way along the northern <br />end of the road (see attachment #4). To allow wetland filling <br />within the proposed right-of-way, the applicant has obtained <br />a county wetland resource permit and has mitigated the wetland <br />filling by payment of a fee to the county mitigation bank <br />program. <br />Staff's analysis is that all final plat requirements are satisfied. <br />RE CObOENDATION : <br />Based upon analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners grant final plat approval for the proposed <br />88th Court private road right-of-way. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously granted final plat <br />approval for the 88h Court private road right-of-way, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />7.D. At the Board of County Commissioners meeting on June 10, 1997 the Board <br />approved increases to the Sheriff s budget for Broward County inmate revenues for <br />the month of May in the amount of $136,845.
