Alternative No. 2 <br />Deny the cut and fill waiver. Finney, S �; CONSENT AGENDA <br />County Right -of -Way Agent <br />SUBJECT: 27th Avenue Right -of -Way Acquisition - The Salvation Army <br />DATE: July 18, 1997 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Twenty-five feet (25') of additional right-of-way is needed on 27th Avenue for future widening <br />improvements. The property owner has executed a contract at $1.38 per square foot for the CL <br />zoned land. The purchase price was arrived at by using the same value the Property Appraiser's office <br />has on the property. The County has purchased other properties with the same zoning in a price <br />range from $1.50 to $2.00 per square foot. <br />The contract price is $21,900 for the 15,869.8 square foot parcel. There are no appraisal or attorney <br />fees. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the $21,900 purchase and authorize the <br />Chairman to execute the contract. <br />Funding is available from Account No. 315-214-541-066.12. <br />AUGUST 5, 1997 600Y '10?
