CHASTAIN K <br />AND STAFFED MANAGER OF ASSE NT PROJECTS <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION OF FORMAL ACCEPTANCE OF UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS - KINGSWAY SUBDIVISION (35TH STREET, <br />36TH PLACE, 36TH LANE, AND 57TH AVENUE, EAST OF <br />58TH AVENUE) <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. UW -97 -09 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />On October 7, 1997, the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners approved Resolution I (97-112) and Resolution II (97-113), <br />which contained the preliminary assessment roll and set the date of the <br />public hearing for the above -referenced subdivision. <br />ANALYSIS <br />In connection with installing water lines by the Department of Utility <br />Services for Kingsway Subdivision, it is necessary that the County <br />formally accept the utility easements in accordance with the subdivision <br />plat dedication certification condition. <br />RECO14MENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve and authorize the chairman to sign the attached <br />resolution accepting the necessary utility easements. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution <br />No. 97-135 formally accepting the streets and easements in <br />Kingsway Subdivision for utilities purposes only. <br />18 <br />OCTOBER 28, 1997 <br />
