Cox, P.E. vc- <br />Civil Engineer <br />Windsor Properties Request for Approval of the Contract for Construction of <br />Required Improvements No. PD -96 -06 -13 -AR <br />Windsor Plat 9, Plat Book 14, Page 80 <br />DATE: October 20, 1997 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />At its July 26, 1996 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners approved the final plat for Windsor <br />Plat 9. The applicant bonded all required improvements. The applicant has now completed all <br />subdivision improvements with the exception of minor improvements including swales which cannot <br />be completed during construction of an adjacent single family residence, the SR A -1-A sidewalk and <br />removal of temporary asphalt pavement. The applicant has bonded these minor improvements in <br />order to obtain a certificate of completion for the majority of the improvements. The applicant has <br />posted a cash escrow and entered into a contract for construction to guarantee completion of the <br />minor improvements. The contract has been approved by the county attorney's office as described <br />in the attached memo dated September 25, 1997. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners authorize the chairman to execute the <br />attached contract for construction and the cash deposit and escrow agreement securing the contract. <br />59 <br />OCTOBER 28, 1997 <br />%u —U PAGE 4'0'jo <br />
