Chairman Eggert then opened the public hearing regarding Item No. 2, Fruit - <br />Spreading Setbacks and asked if anyone wished to be heard. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Tippin, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Adams being absent) unanimously <br />approved Item No. 2 as submitted by staff. <br />Chairman Eggert then opened the public hearing regarding Item No. 3, County <br />Review and Permitting of Seawalls in the City of Vero Beach, and asked if anyone wished <br />to be heard regarding this matter. There being none, she closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Tippin, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Adams being absent) unanimously <br />approved Item No. 3 as submitted by staff. <br />Regarding Paragraph 7 ofthe proposed Ordinance, Amending Landscaping Chapter <br />Section 926.09(3)(a) as follows: <br />Amending landscaping chapter section 926.09(3): <br />(3) Parking area interior landscaping. <br />(a) For off-street parking (driving aisles. driveways parkinsg spaces loading <br />areasl areas equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total paved area <br />(driving aisles. drivewayMparking_spaces loading areass) shall be provided <br />with interior landscaping. Please see Mraphic at end of this chapter <br />illustrating how this requirement is calculated <br />(b) Each separate ...required landscaped area shall contain a minimum of one <br />hundred (100) square feet and.iall :a tiuenn with <br />minimum <br />dimensions of at least ten (10) feet in areas where a tree is <br />Rlanted. and shall include at least one tree having a clear trunk of at least <br />five (5) feet, with the remaining area adequately landscaped with shrubs, <br />Coding: Words in bl6&5&ass type are deletions from existing law.
