S i <br />BOX �A�f <br />Staff agrees that the above existing improvements, which are in the proposed right-of-way <br />parcel, should be relocated at the County's cost. If existing Laurel Oaks are removed by <br />the County, the County is requested to replaced them with 3-24' high East Palatka Holly <br />trees. <br />The total cost of the right-of-way acquisition is therefore $71,890.58 plus possibly the cost <br />of three holly trees. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The right-of-way parcel is needed to provide a future northbound right tum lane at <br />SR60/58th Avenue and sidewalk. The alternatives are as follows: <br />Alternative No. 1 <br />Approve the right-of-way acquisition at a cost of $71,890.58 plus possibly <br />the cost of three Holly trees. Funding to be from 10 Local Option Sales Tax. <br />Alternative No.2 <br />Deny the right-of-way acquisition. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends Alternative No. 1. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Grin, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Macht, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Macht being absent) unanimously <br />approved the right-of-way acquisition from Southern <br />Development Services (Jim Zengage) at a cost of <br />$71,890.58 plus possibly the cost of three Holly <br />trees, with funding from the 1¢ Local Option Sales <br />Tax, as recommended by staff. <br />DOCUMENTS WILL BE ON FILE IN THE <br />--�.OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />WHEN EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />11.H.1.
