US -97 -01 -CS <br />WIP NO. 472-000-169-320.00 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On January 15, 1997 The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) <br />approved a developer's agreement to construct the first phase of a <br />wastewater collection system between U.S. Highway 1 and the Indian <br />River, north of Cleveland Street up to Washington Street in <br />Sebastian (see attached copy of meeting minutes). Construction of <br />the project is now complete and the system has been cleared by the <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to accept <br />sewage. <br />The Environmental Health Department approved the opening of a new <br />restaurant owned by Mr. Steve Phillipson located in the Goodyear <br />Plaza at 920 U.S. Highway 1 provided that County sewer is made <br />available in the near future and the business connects as soon as <br />January 20, 1998 <br />W <br />0 <br />
