US -97 -22 -DC <br />BACKGROUND <br />The North County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant presently has a <br />boat clarifier system to separate the solids from the treated liquid <br />ream after aeration in the oxidation ditch. Due to the desian <br />=.•_iguration -_-�f the ;boat clarifier, the solids blanket accumulation by <br />t:.e boat clarifier does not concentrate solids as effectively as _- <br />W <br />uld through a conventional circular clarifier.
