Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Engineering Consultant Selection - <br />Indian River County Stormwater Improvements <br />DATE: May 11, 1998 <br />On Thursday, May 7, 1998, the Selection Committee appointed to <br />recommend an engineering consultant for the subject project (Roger <br />Cain, P.E., County Engineer, Dave Cox, P.E., Drainage Engineer and <br />Jim Davis, P.E. Public Works Director) received presentations from <br />short-listed consultants. <br />As a result of the committee's investigation, the following <br />prioritized short-list is recommended for Board approval: <br />1 Carter Associates, Inc., Vero Beach <br />2 Lindahl, Browning, Ferrari & Helstrom, Inc., <br />Ft. Pierce <br />3 Williams, Hatfield, & Stoner, Inc. <br />Port St. Lucie, FL. <br />Staff recommends authorization to proceed in contract negotiations <br />with the top ranked firm, Carter & Associates, Inc. of Vero Beach <br />MAY 19, 1998 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, the Board <br />unanimously authorized staff to proceed in contract <br />negotiations with Carter & Associates, Inc. of Vero <br />Beach, as recommended by staff. <br />• <br />i� � y <br />�,:� -�. <br />
