Napier, SRPA, SRA YAW <br />Agent <br />SUBJECT: Right -of -Way Acquisition/County Project No. 8823 <br />58 Avenue Improvements/Oslo Road to 26* Street <br />Parcel No. 103W, Immanuel Baptist Church Of Indian River County <br />DATE: December 16, 1998 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />An additional twenty feet (29) of right-of-way is needed along the west side of 5e <br />Avenue in conjunction with the 5r Avenue Improvements Project. The church has <br />executed a contract at a purchase price of $15,623.72 per acre for the A-1 zoned land. <br />This price per acre is based on the price paid by the church for the property, and is in line <br />with other similar A-1 right-of-way parcels the County has purchased within the market <br />area. <br />The contrail price is $5,781.00 based upon a total area of .37 acre as determined by the <br />legal description. There are no appraisal or attorney fees. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the $5781.00 right-of- <br />way purchase, and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract. <br />JANUARY 5, 1999 <br />
