CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM: <br />HUB <br />DONALD R HUBBS,Q-T�p <br />DIRECTOR OF <br />PREPARED AND <br />GENE A RAUTH <br />STAFFED BY: <br />OPERATIONS MANAGER <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PAY REQUEST FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 9019 <br />REMOVAL OF DIESEL FUEL STORAGE TANKS - UTILITIES DEPT. <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />On November 17, 1998, the Board of County Commissioners approved a contract with Fred Rice <br />& Associates, Inc., for the removal of two diesel tanks located at the Sea Oaks Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant and the South Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (see attached agenda item). <br />The removal of the tanks are complete in accordance with Indian River County Standards and <br />Specifications. <br />The Department is now prepared to finalize the project. Therefore, we are requesting approval by <br />the Board of County Commissioners to make final payment, in the amount of $8,400.00, to the <br />contractor. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve the attached final pay request in the amount of $8,400.00 to Fred Rice & <br />Associates, Inc.. Funding available in account number 471-000-169-364.00 and 475-000-169- <br />111.00: <br />APRIL 6, 1999 <br />-107- BOOKLlC3 F�1GE� <br />
