In addition, he responded to questions concerning <br />swimming pools which had come up during the hearing. <br />Guy Barber, 1678 Highlands Avenue, wished to present a different twist. His <br />concerns were about taxes, sufficient schools, infrastructure, and that the investor could turn <br />the development into rentals. <br />Mr. Profeta added another concern that the density would be visible from outside the <br />project. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard and the Chairman closed the <br />public hearing. <br />Commissioner Tippin believed he lived closer than some of the other folks who had <br />signed the petition and yet he had not been approached to sign. He recalled when he first <br />bought in his area how few neighbors there were and since that time some nice folks have <br />moved to the area. Crime has not increased, but the property values have, and that has <br />increased his taxes.
