She offered a compromise on the street naming versus <br />numbering issue, which was to assign a number (according to the grid) to the development's <br />entry roads and allow a street name for each of the interior roadways within the developed <br />area. <br />THE MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Tippin, <br />SECONDED BY Commissioner Stanbridge adding that the <br />developer be permitted to assign street names for each of the <br />interior roadways within the development area, but that the <br />entry roadways to the development shall be numbered in. <br />accordance with the grid system. <br />Chairman Adams restated the motion indicating that conditions #1 and #3 in staff's <br />recommendation had been changed as per the original motion and amendment. <br />Under discussion, Vice Chairman Ginn didnot seehowthis planned developmentwas <br />of benefit to the county. She pointed out that Pointe West was not included in the matrix. <br />She advised she could not support the motion. <br />Commissioner Macht understood the densities had been calculated according to a <br />formula he stated, and Community Development Director Robert M. Keating stated he was <br />correct, that this was a "gross" density rather than a "net" density. <br />Commissioner Macht then asked when the improvements to 581 Avenue would be <br />completed, and Public Works Director James W.
