Reorganization of Office of County Attorney - Approval of <br />Public Hearing Date of March 21, 2000 Concerning Amending <br />Section 101.06 of the Indian River Coun , Code <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of February 29, 2000: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien, Acting County Attorney-"Od <br />DATE: February 29, 2000 <br />RE: Reorganization of Office of County Attorney <br />Several steps have been taken with respect to the subject matter. One of <br />the decisions was to have future attorneys be "at will" employees. To <br />accomplish this, a change in the Code is necessary. In addition, a proposed <br />contract is associated with the proposed ordinance. Specific terms would, <br />of course, be subject to negotiation. <br />A public hearing date of March 21, 2000, is suggested. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED BY <br />Commissioner Stanbridge, the Board unanimously approved <br />holding a public hearing on March 21, 2000 to consider <br />amending Section 101.06 of the Code, as suggested in the <br />memorandum. <br />March 7, 2000 <br />25 <br />BOOKE <br />• <br />
