1 <br />I <br />U <br />D <br />1 <br />mange 35 East; thence south to the South-east corner of Township 32 south, Range ,35-' <br />East; <br />1+ast; thence East along Township line between Townships 32 and 33 south, to South-east <br />corner of Township 329 Range 38 East; thence North on Range line between ranges 38 <br />and 39 to Township line between Townships 31 and 32 South; thence Easterly on .town <br />ship line between Townships 31 and 32 to the Chore of Atlantic ocean; thence with the <br />meanderings of the Atlantic Ocean to the place of beginning. <br />The Board then proceeded to fix the millage for the VTRO BRIDGE DIS`T'RICT, in <br />accordance with the laws of Florida, as amended by the 1927nLegislature, and it was <br />determined that a tax rate of tour (4) mills on the dollar be levied and is hereby <br />fixed and assessed for the year 1934, on all of the property in the County of Indian <br />River lying and being within the boundaries of said Vero Bridge District for the pur- <br />pose of properly operating said Bridge, and for the purpose of repaying loan now <br />outstanding and unpaid, the total sum estimated in the budget being 05,546.25. <br />The Board then proceeded to fix the millage for the QUAY BRIDGE DISTRICT, in <br />accordance with the laws of Florida, as emended by the 1927 Legislature, and it was <br />determined that a tax rate of Four (4) mills on the dollar be levied and is hereby <br />fixed and assessed for the year 19349 on all of the property in the County of Indian <br />River lying and being within the boundaries of said Vero Bridge District for the pur- <br />pose of properly operating the bridge in said Di strict and the reasonable and usual <br />repairs and maintenance of said bridge and the approaches thereto, the total gram <br />estimated in the budget being 4129998.16. <br />The Board then proceeded to fix and set the millage for the <br />P] <br />in accordance with the laws of Ylorida, as amended by the 1929 Legislature, and it was <br />determined that a tax rate of Eight (8) mills on the dollar be levied and is hereby <br />fixed and assessed for the year 19349 on all of the property in the County of Indian <br />River lying and being within the boundaries of said wabasso Bridge District for the <br />purpose of properly operating said 13ridge, and to pay the interest due on the bonds <br />outstanding and for the ultimate redemption of the said bonded debt, the total sum <br />estimated in said budget being X17,151.45. <br />RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor in nud for the County of Indian River, 'state of <br />Florida, be and he is hereby directed to levy and assess all of the foregoing taxes <br />as fixed and levied by this Jio ord upon the property as levied and that he extend the <br />taxes on the valuation of such property according to said millage as fixed and .deter- <br />mined by this Board on all the property subject to taxation in the said County of <br />Indian giver, as to all taxes levied and intended to be entered on the assessment roll <br />under the head of county taxes and upon all property lying and being within the Dis- <br />tricts as described within the County of Indian River, as of the First day of January, <br />1934. <br />BESOLVED, Further, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court and Clerk of this Board, <br />be and he is hereby directed to furnish to W. R. 1Xncan, Tax Assessor of Indian River <br />County, a full and complete copy of the foregoing minutes in so far as the same relates <br />to the subject of levying taxes, describing boundaries and etc. <br />03SOLVED9 Farther, That the Cleric and Auditor of the County be notified of the <br />amount to be apportioned to the different accounts out of the total taxes levied for <br />all purposes. <br />, The bond of J.B.Ba,rker, as veputy 'sheriff , in the sum of *1,000.00 with C.vi.Flet- <br />cher and Dewey Reams, as sureties was approved. <br />it was ordered mrs Frances $loan, Wabasso, be placed on the pauper list to receive <br />the sum of X6.00 per month until the further orders of this Board. <br />i <br />
