Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 017 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of July 24, 2000: <br />TO: <br />Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />DATE: <br />July 24, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 017 <br />THROUGH: <br />Joseph A. Baird <br />Assistant County Administrator <br />FROM: <br />Jason E. Brown <br />Budget Manager <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. Traffic Engineering has entered into a Joint Participation Agreement (JPA) with the <br />Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to construct a new traffic signal at <br />S.R.60 and 74`" Avenue. The attached entry appropriates these funds. <br />2. The Land Acquisition Advisory Committee (LAAC) has executed cost sharing <br />agreements with the Florida Communities Trust (FCT) for several parcels. The <br />attached entry appropriates funding in the amount of $1,848,529. <br />3. This entry transfers funds budgeted in the prior year for the building permit/ <br />development review/ concurrency computer system to the current year. Funding of <br />$14,000 is provided by Building Division Cash Forward. <br />4. On July 11, 2000, the Board of Commissioners approved utilizing $9,934 of revenue <br />from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and $2,500 from tree fines to augment funding <br />for Jungle Trail improvements.
