E. <br />Glover and unanimously carried, the Board accepted the bid as submitted by the Clewiston Motor <br />Company for the net.sum_of $2600.00 <br />The Board agreed that it would consider truck bids with aveight (8) foot brace side <br />body job with D7 hoist, said body to be manufactured by Gar Wood and bids on two trucks with <br />bodies as described were submitted as follows; <br />Fero Beach Cadillac Company $2352.00 <br />Tropical Chevrolet Company 2460.00 <br />Helseth Motor Company 2467.48 <br />J. B. Brewer Inc. 2668.00 <br />After careful consideration on motion made by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by C. S. <br />Michael and unanimously carried the Board accepted the bid submitted by Vero Beach Cadillac <br />Company for two G. M. C. Trucks with Gar food Hoist and Dump bodies at a price of $2352.00 <br />Harry W. Damerow appeared before the Board with a plat of Vero Gardens Subdivision <br />and stated the property was owned by the City of Vero Beach and that said Subdivision had never <br />been openned and that the City desired that the Subdivision be retained or put back in acreage <br />On motion made by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by S. E. Glover and carried the plat was approved <br />and ordered filed by the Clerk. Mr. Damerow also presented the Board with a blue print of the <br />ocean beach road survey, the Blue print was accepted and ordered filed in the Clerk's office. <br />Miss Leila U. Bunkley, County Nurse, appeared before the board and filed Nurse's <br />report as to her activities for the month of June 1.438, as follows to -wit: <br />Total Dumber of cases for the month were 160 <br />Total Number of visits to these cases were 9I. <br />Number of homes visited were 78 <br />Number of visits in behalf of these cases 60 <br />Veneraal Disease Clinics held were 4 <br />Dumber of treatments given were 38 <br />Fre-School Clinics held were 1 <br />Attendance 54 <br />Clinic for cripple children held were I <br />Attendance 39 <br />Clinic for defective speech 1 <br />Attendance 15 <br />Tonsil Clinic 1 <br />,Operations 6 <br />Investigations of mothers securing pensions from County 14 <br />Investigations <br />of cases for Red <br />Cross <br />4 <br />Application of <br />Mrs. Rachel Sapp, <br />Winter Beach <br />to enter the State Tuberculosis Sana- <br />torium at Orlando was approved on motion made by Frank C. Vickers, seconded by S. E. Glover <br />and unanimously carried. <br />It was ordered L. Bryan, Gifford, Florida receive the sum of $25.00 per month from <br />the paupers fund for the care of M. M. Hat�away until the further ordered of the Board. <br />it was ordered Daisy Barker, Wabasso, receive the sum of $15.00 per month in lieu of <br />$8.00 for the remainder of the summer months. <br />R , N• <br />It was ordered W. Z. Stevens, Minter Beach, be placed on thepaupers list to receive <br />the sum of $6.00 per month until the further orders of the Board. <br />
