<br />Schools of the County,'and to pay the salaries of teacherq,bus drivers and -repair school houses
<br />and buses as estimated by the County Board of Public Instruction, the sum of $127,837.82 it is
<br />determined and hereby declared that a tax,rate of Ten (10)' mills upon the dollar be levied,
<br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property. in the County of ,Indian_Riv_er_.on__the first
<br />day of January, 1940.
<br />According to the millage so determined, fixed, assessed the 4illege to be
<br />entered in the column provided for County taxes in the assessment roll for the year 19409 is
<br />Thirty-nine (39) mills upon the dollar, to cover a total estimated expenditure of $216,700.82.
<br />The Board then proceeded to fix the millage for -SPECIAL ROAD AND BRIDGE DISTRICT NO.
<br />1, under Section'1656 of Chapter 12, Revised General Statutes, laws of Florida, and it was
<br />determined that a tax rate of Ten (10) mills on the dollar be levied and is hereby fixed and
<br />assessed for the year 1940, on all of the property in the County of Indian River, lying -and
<br />being within the boundaries of the saidDistrict for the purpose of maintaining the highways
<br />constructed therein, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the Northwest corner
<br />of Indian River County, run thence Best on County line to the range line dividing Ranges 37 and
<br />38, thence South on Range line between Ranges 37 and 38 to -the Northwest corner of Section 19
<br />Tp. 31 S.R. 38 E., thence South on section line between Range line dividing Ranges 38 and 39
<br />to the Southeast corner Tp 32 S. R. 38 Best; thence west -on Township line to the west boundary
<br />of'Indian River County, thence North on west bounda yof said County to the poing of beginning.
<br />It is herewith determined that a tax rate of .15_mills on the -dollar is necessary and
<br />the -same be and it is herewith assessed, levied -and fixed for the year 1940 on all of the prop-
<br />erty lying'amd being with the boundaries of SPECIAL ROAD AND BRIDGE DISTRICT.& Indian River
<br />County, Floridal Twelve (12) mills for the purpose of paying interest on and providing a sink -
<br />Ing fund for retiring..bonds.of.._seid Special Road and Bridge District #4 known as Special Road
<br />and Bridge District #4 Refunding Bonds and which bonds are dated January -1st, 1937. Said levy
<br />being made pursuant to peremptory writ.of mandamus in the case of -State, ex rel., Meredith,
<br />et al., vs. Indian River County, Florida, at al., Case No. 2048 in the Circuit Court of Indian
<br />River County, Florida, proceeds of which said levy shall be remitted to -the State Treasurer as

<br />County Treasurer Ex -Officio as and when collected. Three (3) mills for Refunding Expenses,
<br />proceeds of which said levy shall be remitted to the Clerk of the -Board of County Commission rs
<br />The boundaries of said special District are as follows, to -wit: Commencing at the North-west
<br />corner'of Section 6, Tp. 32 S. R. 39 E., thence run East along Section line to the waters of
<br />the Atlantic Ocean thence run Southeasterly along the edge -of -the Atlantic -Ocean to the South
<br />line of Section 34, Tp. 33 S. Range 40'East, thence run west along Section line to the S'.Wo-
<br />Corner of the Bast half of the west half of Section 34 Tp.33 South, Range. 38 E., thence run
<br />North to the Northwest corner of the East half of the West half of Section 34.Tp. 33 S. Range

<br />North to.the Northwest corner.of`Section 15, Tp. 33 S. Range 38 E., thence run Nest -to the

<br />the point of beginning.
<br />Estimates having been made by the Trustees of SPECIAL TAX SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. l,'and
<br />the Trustees having certified the rate of millage voted to be assessed it was determined that
<br />a tax rate of Ten (10) mills upon the dollar -be levied, and is hereby fixed and assessed for
<br />the year 29409 on all of the property in the County of Indian River lying and being within the
<br />boundaries of the said District No. 1, which boundaries are as follows, to -wit: Beginning -at
<br />the Northeast corner of Sec. 3., Tp. 31, Range 39 E. then run west along County line to N. W.
