Thirteen -Hundred Sixty-eight and.93/100 Dollars ($1368.93) <br />ji The above is the amount shown by Auditor M. L. Ramsey in his <br />report of December 31st, 1939 as being an over payment by the county for <br />i <br />the years 1930 and 1931. <br />Douglas Baker <br />ounty Commis <br />The Board thanked Mr. Duncan for the check, ordered the receipt sIgned by the Clerk <br />and that said funds be placed in the GRItTERAI. REVENUE FUND of the County. <br />County pay <br />Commissioner Glover brought cep the matter and recommended the'/a Mr. 7.&LP. Hamilton <br />a nominal sum for i.e,alleged to have been injured and later died0from a defect in the <br />his <br />Minter Beach Bridge, however the Board took no action as to/recommendation. <br />Miss Leila M. Bunkley, County Nurse appeared before the Board and made a report of <br />her activities for the month of January as follows, to -wit: <br />County Nurse's Monthly Report, January, 1941. <br />Total Number of Cases .for the Month 1 54 <br />Number of visits 'to cases . 108 <br />Number <br />of <br />visits <br />in behalf of cases <br />64 <br />Number <br />of <br />office <br />interviews <br />57 <br />Number of Families given clothing 2 <br />No. garments 36 <br />To Harry -Anna Home, Umatilla 1 <br />Convalescent Home for Cripples <br />Chairman Michael and Road Superintendent, E. E. Carter, were selected as a Committee <br />to meet with the officials of the State Road Department at a meeting to be held in Orlando on <br />February 27th, 1941, for the purpose of discussing projects to be included in the 1941 Budget. <br />RESOLUTION -TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM ONE ITEK TO ANOTHER <br />Commissioner N. C. Graves, Jr. introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption, to -wit: <br />WHEREAS, there is a surplus under the item of Contingencies #699 in the GENERAL <br />REVENUE Fund of Indian River County and which surplus exists after the payment of all necess <br />expenditures under such item for the current fiscal year; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a deficiency in funds necessary to provide for proper and author- <br />ized expenditures under the item of Publicity #685 in said GENERAL REVENUE Fund; and <br />WHEREAS, said items mentioned are a part of the same Fund and the transfer of <br />monies herewith authorized is a transfer from one item to another item in the same Fund and <br />is not a transfer from one Fund to another Fund; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that there is herewith transferred the sum of $400.00 from the item <br />of Contingencies #699 to the item of Publicity #685, all in the GENERAL REVENUE Fund of the <br />current budget of Indian River County. <br />The Resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Glover and upon being put to a vote <br />the same was unanimously adopted. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited were examined) <br />and found correct, were approved and warrants ordered issued in the settlement of same. Such <br />bills and accounts being on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. The warrants <br />so issued from the respective funds being listed in the supplemental minute book as provided b <br />the rules of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being made a <br />part of these minutes. <br />0 <br />1 <br />11 <br />
