period October 1, 1940 to September 30, 1941, which was forwarded to the State Comptroller. <br />Mr. Minor Holmes appeared before the Board and requested a road be graded from Ditch <br />#1 to Lateral U in Fellsmere area. On motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner Helseth and carried the request was granted. Mr. Holmes also requested the County to <br />build a bridge, which would cost approximately $250.00,aoross Lateral U at Ditch #1 in the <br />Felismere area, with the understanding that he would reinburse the County for the cost of <br />construction of said Bridge. On motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Glover and carried, this request was granted. ° <br />Attorney S. N. Smith Sr. appeared before the Board in behalf of Elbert Kersey, who <br />at the time being confined to the County Jail, and requested that he be allowed credit of five <br />(5) days per month on his sentenoe, provided no charge of misconduct had been made against the <br />prisoner. On motion made by Commissioner Glover, seconded by Commissioner Helseth and carried <br />this request was granted and the Sheriff was instructed to release prisoner. according to Law <br />unless charge of misconduct is filed against prisoner. <br />Miss Leila M. R. Duncan, Tax <br />Assessor. <br />Auditors report #2417, dated September 26, 1941, made on the audit of the accounts of <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court, Tax Collector, County Judge and Sheriff, officials of Indian River <br />County, by Mr. Paul H. Reid auditor was presented to the Board in connection with the provis- <br />ions of Section 2196, Compiled General Laws, 1927, and the same was ordered filed as part of <br />the public records of Indian River County. <br />RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS <br />Commissioner S. E.
