PEEZNSM ROAD RESOLUTION <br />• I RESOLUTION <br />E <br />1 <br />0 <br />Ll <br />1 <br />r. <br />MflEREAS, The United States of America has requested the Board of County Commissioners of it <br />'' Indian River County, Florida, to grant to it the right to enter upon any public highway lying <br />i <br />within or traversing Lot 7 and 8 in Section 16, Lots 10 20 20 4, 59 and 6 in Section 21, Lots <br />1 19 2, 3,and 4 in Section 28, Lots 1 and 2 in Section 22, Lots 19 2, 3, and 4 in Section 27 and <br />Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Section 34, all in Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Indian River County, <br />y! Floride,end over which Indian River County, Florida holds jurisdiction and maintenance and for <br />the purpose of the United States of America, its employees, contractors and assigns to improve 1 <br />such public highways as they may deed"; necessary; and it appearing proper so to do; therefore <br />s <br />BE IT RESOLVED That the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida s j� <br />does herewith, grant to the United States of America, its employees, contractors and assigns the <br />right to enter upon and to improve as may be deemed necessary any public highway or public high{ <br />ways upon or traversing the above described lands and over which highway or highways the said <br />county may hold jurisdiction and maintenance; and which right herewith granted is to the full <br />ii extent of any and all jurisdiction which Indian River County, Florida may hold over, in arad to <br />such highway or highways. <br />i^ BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That any improv eme nt of said highway or highways made VY the <br />ii United States of America, its employees, contractors and assigns, shall be without cost or ob- <br />ligation to Indian River County, Florida. <br />BE IT FURTHEP RESOLVED That the right herewith granted shall' terminate tapon the expir-"4 <br />ation of six months next succeeding the termination of the existing national emergency. <br />Dr. R. On motion made by Commissionerni <br />Helseth, seconded by Commissioner Glover' and unanimously carried the Board agreed to appropria <br />the sum, of $600.00 for this program, provided the City of Vero Beach would appropriate the sum <br />of $300.00 including light and water. Mayor Mac William stated that he would recommend such <br />u <br />an appropriation to the City Council. <br />f ✓ <br />The Indian River Citrus Bank and the First Federal Savings & Loan Association, Vero Beach, <br />Florida, having filed proper application, request to be named and designated County Depository <br />for the year 1943 - 1944 and on motion made by Albert 0.
