1 <br />that a copy of it be forwarded to Mr. And Mrs. Helseth and that a copy of it be published in the <br />Vero Beach Press Journal. <br />The motion for the adoption of this resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Glover and unanimously adopted. <br />The Board then proceeded with the matter of fixing the rate of taxation for Indian <br />River County for the year 1945 and, after careful consideration of.the estimated receipts and <br />;expenditures, the following resolution was introduced by Commissioner R. W; Graves who moved <br />its adoption, to wits <br />WHEREAS, all acts having been performed and all proceedings had as required by law <br />and preliminary to the levy of taxes in Indian River County, Florida for the year 1945; and, <br />WHEREAS, the respective boards and taxing districts beinvauthorized to fix and levy <br />taxes upon property situated within Indian River County, Florida, as provided by law, fixed Sul <br />'tax levies and have certified the same to this Board and this Board having considered the same <br />and having then found them to be proper, therefore be it resolved that; <br />Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of IND?zAN RIVER MONUTTO CON:`: <br />TROL DISTRICT, and a certified copy of the resolution filed with this Board, as required by law <br />and as estimated by the Board of Commissioners, it is determined and hereby declared thata tax <br />rate Of One and two-fifths (1 2/5) mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed and as <br />sessed for the year 1945, on all of the property taxable for such purpose as provided by law in <br />the County of Indian River, lying and being within the boundaries of said Indian River Mosquito <br />Control District, the boundaries of said District being described as follows, towits All of <br />that territory in Indian River County, Florida, included with the boundaries described as fol- <br />lows, to -wits <br />Begin at a point where the South boundary line of Indian River County, Florida, intersects the <br />Atlantic Ocean; thence run West along the South boundary line of Indian River County, Florida, <br />I'to the Southwest corner of Section 31, Township 33 South, Range 36 East; thence run North along <br />the Range line dividing Range 35 East and Range 36 East of the Northwest corner of Section 6, <br />Township 33 South, Range 36 East and which corner is on the boundary line dividing Township 32 <br />South and Township 33 South; thence run East on the boundary line -dividing Township 33 South <br />and Township 32 South to the Southwest corner of Section 31, Township 32 Souttil Range 39 East; <br />'thence run North on the boundary line dividing Range 38 East and Range 39 East to the Northwest <br />corner of Section 6, Township 32 South, Range 39 East; thence run East along the boundary line <br />dividing Township 31 South and Township. 32 South to the Atlantic Ocean and the East boundary <br />line of Indian River County; thence run South alont the East boundary line of Indian River <br />'County to tie point of beginning. <br />Estimates having been made by the Board of Commissioners of SEBASTIAN' INLET DISTRICT <br />,for the ultimate redemption of bonds, notes, or other obligations outstanding, and to pay in <br />terest thereon, when due, and for general repairs and additional work to be done, and a certi- <br />fied copyoof the resolution filed with this Board, as required by law, and as hereby declared <br />that a tax rate of one and eleven -twentieth mills upon the dollar be levied, and is hereby fixed <br />and assessed, for the year 1945, on all of the property in the County of Indian River, lying add <br />,being in the boundaries of said Sebastian Inlet District Four-fifthil s of which shall be <br />,used solely for. interest payments, when due, and to create a sinking fund for the ultimate re* <br />demotion of Refunding Bonds of said District dated July 1st,. 1936 and three-fourths , (3/4) mills <br />of which levy shall be used as a maintenance fund and for the purposes authorized and prescribed <br />in the act creating said district namely Section 15 of Chapter 7976 of the Laws of Florida as <br />amended by Chapter 12259 of the Laws of Florida. <br />,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Tax Assessor of Indian River County, Florida, be and <br />
