That said <br />Petition and offer is accompanied by cash in the amount of said delinquent taxes namely $238.09; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, the Board of , County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, has con- <br />:sidered the said Petition; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that it appears to the satisfaction of this Board that a failure to <br />!approve said Petition would work a severe hardship upon the Petitioner, the said City of Vero <br />Beach, Florida; that the said Petition is hereby approved; that the Board of County Commissioner <br />of Indian River County, and the members thereof, is and are authorized and empowered to convey <br />to the former owner named in said Petition namely the City of Vero Beach, Florida, the lands <br />described in said Petition and to execute a proper conveyance thereof. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT this Board finds that said Petition meets in all respects <br />,every requirement of said Chapter 22870 and that the facts existing and so described in said <br />{Petition constitute a proper and sufficient basis for the filing of said Petition and of the <br />approval thereof as represented by this Resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner R. W. <br />'Graves and nrwnimously adopted. <br />The County Assessor of Taxes, W. R. Duncan, appeared before the Board and presented <br />the tax rolls for the year 1945 on Real and Personal Property and also Intangible Tax Roll, <br />mhich were carefully examined and found correct and on motion made by Albert 0. Eelseth, seconded <br />Asy Frank C. Vickers, and carried, were approved, and the warrants to each of said rolls were_an-, <br />vexed thereto and is in wordd and figures following: <br />THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />To Troy E. Moody, Tax Collector of the County of Indian River: - <br />You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate and personal property, and <br />'Ifrom each of the persons and corporations named in the annexed roll, the taxes set down in each <br />'roll opposite each name, corporation or parcel of land therein described, and in case taxes so <br />imposed are not paid at the time prescribed by law, you are to collect the same by levy and sale <br />or the goods and chattels, lands and tenements so assessed, or of the person or corporation so <br />taxed; and all sums collected for the State taxes you are to pay to the State Treasurer at such <br />time as may be required by law, and at the same time you are to pay to the legally qualified <br />;Depository all sums collected for county taxes, district school taxes and other special taxes; <br />And you are further required to make all collections on or before the first 'ionday in April; and <br />on or before the first Monday in July you will make a final report to and settlement with the <br />'Comptroller and County Commissioners. <br />Given under my hand and seal this the 2nd day of October, in the year A.
