County Administrator's Recommendation Exhibit N <br />may be carried over from year to year; however, an employee shall not be allowed more <br />than thirty (30) days annual leave in a one-half (1/2) year period. <br />28.03 For employees hired prior to the beginning of the first pay period after Union <br />ratification and County approval of this Agreement, Eemployer rules and regulations will <br />apply regarding notification and/or pay for annual leave earned above 500 hours. Employees <br />retiring after entering the DROP will be eligible to receive up to 300 hours of leave upon <br />separation. Employees hired on or after the beginning of the first pay period after <br />Union ratification and County approval of this Agreement will be eligible to receive <br />payment for accrued annual leave up to 500 hours, or the maximum hours allowed by <br />the Florida Division of Retirement at the time, whichever is less, in total. <br />28.04 Employees with the most time in total service years will be given preference when granting <br />annual leave, during the seniority months (November, February, May, August). <br />28.05 Non -shift employees shall receive one (1) personal day to be used within each calendar year <br />in accordance with the vacation policy. <br />
