Existing areas that do not meet the maximum 2% cross slope are exempt, but <br />must transition back to less than 2% as quickly as possible in 5'-7' when coming out of existing <br />condition. <br />• School buses, Sanitation & US Postal Service must be maintained. <br />• Addendums if required — review and comment as soori as possible, no further comments / <br />questions 10 days prior to bid opening (Sunday, May 10, 2015). <br />FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />• Invoicing <br />• Indian River County (IRC) is required to satisfy the Federal reporting requirements for this project, <br />such as employment reporting, for both Contractor and all Subcontractors. <br />• In order to be eligible for reimbursement by FDOT /FHWA, IRC must comply with all applicable <br />procedures, standards and directives as described in the FDOT Local Agency Program Manual and <br />the Florida Department of Transportation, Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract <br />Compliance Workbook, Jan. 2012. <br />• Contractors must meet deadlines in order to be in compliance Alt deadlines are strictly enforced <br />or reimbursements cannot be made. <br />• All required forms must be completed and on time or payment could be withheld. <br />Rich Szpyrka spoke of the importance of have certified payrolls in to the IRC Engineering <br />Division on time and accurate on a weekly basis or payments will be withheld until payrolls are <br />corrected. These payrolls go to FDOT for review.
