Discussion was held, following questioning by Commissioner Ginn, regarding the <br />advantages of using the Southeastern United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) rather than the <br />federal, urban CPI. <br />CONSENSUS was reached that staff would investigate this matter and bring it back to <br />the Board's attention at least 90 days prior to the next renewal date of this contract. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Ginn, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Chairman <br />Stanbridge absent) unanimously approved the Contract and <br />Addendum with Communications International, Inc. with the <br />caveat that 90 days prior to the next renewal date staff will <br />renegotiate the CPI. <br />CONTRACT AND ADDENDUM ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />11 _f C.1.
