CHAIRMAN RUTH a STANBRIDGE — APPOINTMENT TO <br />TRANSPORTATION DISADVANTAGED LOCAs, COORDINATING <br />BOARD AND OTHER COMMITTEES <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of November 12, 2002: <br />DATE: November 12, 2002 <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Chairman Ruth Stanbridge <br />SUBJECT: Committee Assignments <br />The committees assigned to me need to be re -assigned. I inherited several <br />committees from District One Commissioner that I would now like to return. <br />These are: <br />Historic Resources Advisory Committee <br />Indian River Lagoon Advisory Board (Regional/State/Federal) <br />St. Johns River Water Management District (Regional) <br />Heritage River Initiative (State/Federal) <br />Several months ago, I also assigned District One Commissioner Fran Adams <br />to the new IRL North Feasibility Study Project Delivery Team and I was her <br />Alternate. I would like to assign that Alternate position to District Five <br />Commissioner, Caroline Ginn. <br />Both the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee and <br />the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board are State - <br />mandated committees that MUST be chaired by elected county <br />commissioners. <br />Therefore, the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee <br />is assigned to the District Two Commissioner. <br />While the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board will go <br />to the District Four Commissioner. NOTE: The Transportation <br />Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board will be meeting on November <br />22nd <br />NOVEMBER 12, 2002 <br />
