As shown in Exhibit B of the attached agreement, the estimated cost sharing between the developer <br />and the County is as follows <br />Developer's Share <br />$ <br />19,781 <br />62 <br />County's Share <br />$ <br />5,847 <br />38 <br />Total Project Cost <br />$ <br />251629.00 <br />Construction of the water main will allow the County to coordinate expansion of the water distribution <br />system with development of the site, as well as provide water service to future projects along the US 1 <br />corridor As future projects connect to the water system, line extension fees will be collected, along <br />with capacity charges. A portion of the developer's contribution includes $2,212.05, which is the <br />proportionate share of a directional bore provided by Fountain Towers, LLC, Medical Office building <br />funded by the County. Even though the County is only reimbursing $5,84738 to the developer, <br />$8,059.43 of County funds are entitled to be reimbursed through line extension fees as future <br />customers connect to the new water main The County's total share of $5,847.38 will be funded from <br />the capacity charge fund, Account Number 472. <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the attached developer's agreement as presented, authorize the Utilities Department to recover <br />$83059.43 ($5384738 + $2,212.05) in he extension fees from future development and authorize the <br />Chairman to execute the same <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge, the <br />Board unanimously approved the Developer's <br />Agreement with Eddy Group, Inc.; authorized the <br />Utilities Department to recover $8,059.43 in line <br />extension fees from future development; and <br />authorized the Chairman to execute the Agreement; <br />all as recommended by staff. <br />DECEMBER 4, 2001 <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />-111- <br />�'. r, <br />i' is J <br />
