RECO'NMFNnATtO r <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the (latest revised) proposed <br />improvements to Old Winter Beach Road, and direct staff to issue a county right-of-way permit .for the <br />work, with the following conditions (as presented to the Board on January 23, but modified to include the <br />HRAC's recommended additional conditions): <br />1. The bridge tender's site will remain in public ownership at its historic location. <br />2. Public access to the bridge tender's site will remain unrestricted. <br />3. The roadway alignment will be micro -sited within the 70' wide right-of-way, under the <br />supervision of county environmental planning staff, to maximize the protection of existing native <br />vegetation and wetlands. <br />4. The 10' wide vegetated buffer will meet the planting standards applied to the Jungle trail buffer, <br />including the planting of native canopy trees. <br />5. The developer will provide a detailed tree survey (of native trees) in the right-of-way for county <br />staff review prior to any road work. <br />ATTA(`HMFNT� <br />1.
