Chairman Stanbridge and Commissioner Adams had no problem with instituting a <br />cap until the documentation has been received. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and Commissioner Ginn questioned <br />whether the Board wished to vote on the Children's Services cap separately. <br />Commissioner Adams also noted that the Board had not discussed whether the 4 year <br />limitation would begin now or retroactively. She suggested that they leave it at 4 years, <br />beginning last year, plus 3 years. <br />County Attorney Bangel questioned whether the motion included Commissioner <br />Ginn's application changes, and Commissioner Macht responded that it did not. <br />Commissioner Adams WITHDREW HER SECOND AND THE MOTION DIED. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Ginn, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Stanbridge, to <br />approve backup pages 127 through 155 outlining the <br />new Outside Agency Funding Policy with the <br />following changes: (1) Item I. Nonprofit Agencies, <br />C. Amount and Term of Funding for Individual <br />Nonprofit Agencies, (1)(c) changing the term from <br />4 years to 3 years, and (2) changing Item III, <br />Children's Services Agencies, by adding a cap at <br />$900,000 until receipt of the needs assessment and <br />asset mapping which should be received in the next <br />year; otherwise as recommended by staff. <br />FEBRUARY 19, 2002 <br />-58- <br />3 7 7 <br />
