Commissioner Adams believed this relief is needed for those seniors living on a fixed <br />income with prescription drug expenses. <br />Commissioner Macht strongly objected and noted that there are a lot of young couples <br />whose combined incomes are not sufficient to provide insurance for their families. Thev are <br />busy working and don't have time to appear before the Board to protest this action. <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner Stanbridge, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Adams, to move <br />forward with the project. <br />County Attorney Paul Bangel offered to draft an ordinance for the Board's review. <br />Under discussion, Chairman Ginn noted that there are all kinds of people who need <br />help but seniors have quite a few benefits and prescription help is on the way. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and <br />the Motion failed by a 2 to 3 vote (Chairman Ginn, <br />Commissioners Macht and Tippin opposed). <br />.1.
