DeBlo'.,'• L <br />Chief, Environ ental Planning <br />& Code Enforcement <br />P <br />DATE: 7/10/02 <br />FROM: Kelly Zedek <br />Code Enforcement Officer <br />RE Dennis and Scarlet Brigman Request for Partial Release of Easement at 4420 <br />llth Place SW (The Grove Subdivision) <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal consideration by the Board of County <br />Commissioners at its regular meeting of July 16, 2002. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The County has been petitioned by Dennis and Scarlet Brigman, owners of a lot at 4420 1 lth Place <br />SW, for release of a three-foot wide portion of a ten -foot wide side yard drainage and utility <br />easement. The purpose of the requested easement release is to accomodate a driveway (see <br />attached plot plan). <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The request has been reviewed by Bell South Communications; Florida Power & Light Corporation; <br />T C.I. Cable Corporation; the Indian River County Utilities Depai talent; the County Road & Bridge <br />and Engineering Divisions; and the County surveyor. None of the utility providers or reviewing <br />agencies expressed an objection to the requested partial release of easement. Therefore, it is staff's <br />position that the requested easement release would have no adverse impact to utilities being <br />supplied to the subject properties or to other properties. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board, through adoption of the attached resolution, partially release the <br />drainage and utility easement, as more particularly described in said resolution. <br />JULY 16, 2002 <br />-15- <br />pli <br />• <br />
